Shooting in High Def 1080

Over the years I've shot with more than a few professional video cameras. The first job I had we used a tethered recording deck. It's pretty funny to think about now that everyone has the ability to shoot video with their tiny telephone. I've definitely seen the evolution of video cameras! I'm currently using a fine professional 3CCD ProHD JVC Camera with 1080i/60fps. That means the picture is amazing! We can also shoot in 24p if you like that look. The footage I'm getting from this camera looks good!

Professional Editing

Editing has come a long way too. Back in the day, we would sit in big rooms surrounded by a huge console of switchers, edit controllers, special effects generators, graphics stations and tons of monitors. Now, people edit video on their hand held device. I remember the first non-linear system I used (Media 100) and saying out loud, "there's no way you can playback real-time video from that thing!". That statement sounds darn funny now! For my current projects, I'm using Final Cut Pro 6 with all the goodies needed to make terrific videos.

Experienced Video Producer

The thing that sets me apart from the competition is experience. Sure, you can get your cousin to shoot a video of you but what's that gonna look like and more importantly, what's that gonna do for your image! The creative process is fun and I make the experience as enjoyable as possible for my clients. You can ask 'em.
